About Us
The Eagles Sports Management Group has been recognized as a premier leader of youth sports programs in the Greater Piedmont/Triad area. Our Programs focus on academic excellence, building a strong work ethic, athletic skill development, citizenship and service to our community.
Eagles Elite Sports consists of a melting pot of young student athletes from Greensboro and surrounding cities. Our mission is to provide a platform that enables our athletes to learn about the values and ethics of athletic competition while implanting firmly, the ideals of physical conditioning, nutrition and wellness, good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect.
The Eagles Sports Management Group is a multi-faceted business focused on building core values in our community from youth to adulthood. Our goal is to provide a solid framework for youth development and social enrichment programs. We strive to bridge the gap between diverse groups within our community. Through our various programs, we encourage long-term affiliation with our organization throughout a child’s development years so they may build positive relationships and recognize the importance of being intellectually, socially and physically empowered.
We bring a wealth of expertise in the area of youth sports as well as child and adult education. These skills will be shared to help enhance the experiences of those who participate in our programs. Our love for the youth of our community and the importance of families is what drives our dedication to these initiatives. The ability to positively impact the lives of our future leaders is without a doubt, one of the greatest opportunities we have been afforded.
Our dynamic team believes in a holistic approach to the total family by offering specialized support services. We have built a solid foundation in which education is first. Every child is welcome regardless of gender, race, skill level or financial background. Our staff of volunteers provides participants in our programs with the much needed mentoring and life skills required to enable them to become good community citizens.

I joined the Greensboro Eagles in 2013. It has been such an amazing journey providing the opportunity to shape the lives of those who we engage with. I look forward to many more years of working with our youth to help them develop and prepare for high school, college and beyond.

Darrel Moyd
I am Darrel Moyd. I am a Graduate from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. I graduated A&T with a major in Business Management and finishing my second degree in Sports Science and Fitness Management. It has always been a dream of mine to develop young athletes and prepare them to become student athletes. Prior to Attending A&T, I attended Methodist University where I was able to compete as a track and field athlete and as a football athlete. I competed in events such as the 400m dash, 4x4 relay, 4x2 relay, and Long Jump.
As a football athlete, I entered as a strong safety, but later transitioned into the starting running back and wide receiver role. Upon transferring to A&T and finishing my first degree, I joined the Eagles organization to start my journey in being a mentor and coaching young athletes. My dream is to guide our youth to becoming great students and athletes.
